the machine and causes a rotating unbalance. The rotating total mass is 50 kg
(including mb) and the radius of the washer basket e
is 25 cm. Knowing the washer has an equivalent spring constant k = 1000
N/m and damping constant =14N.m/s and during the spin cycle the drum rotates at
w= 1000 rpm, determine the amplitude of the motion.

The differential equation that governs the motion is:

20 y” +14 y’ + 1000 y = P sinwt

Where P= 10 (0.25)
