Question

Aeryn and Leeloo are flying through a star system, when they recieve a transmission from a nearby inhabited moon. It’s a friend telling them that there are some imperial space troopers looking for ships carrying contraband with a trajectory described by the line L1 : x = 1 + 2s, y = 2 − 2s, z = 5 − 6s (with the moon as the origin of these coordinates). Their friend also tells them that their trajectory can be described as L2 : x = 2 − 4t, y = 3t, 1 + 5t. However, their friend has to end the transmission to avoid detection, and Aeryn and Leeloo are left not knowing where on the line the space troopers are. Will the two trajectories collide? If not how close could the two ships possible get?
