Answer #1

Geoboards could be one to identify the simple geometric shapes and then describe the properties of that identified shapes and it is used to develop the spatial sense

Geometric solid models could also be used to teach the spatial reasoning and nets

Teacher should take the initiative toward the manipulative sin maths and encourages the student so that they can explore the shapes and the attributes of the shapes and to implement this teacher should provide appropriate manipulative and properly structured environment to make the things go with the smooth flow . Students can explore the shapes by creating a new one or decomposing them and by sorting or comparing them. Students would be able to create the shapes over dot paper, geoboards or graph paper and represent them in blocks or drawings.
