Construct a circle of a griven radius that touches two lines. how many solutions are there?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

When we construct a circle of given radius which touches two lines,There are case

1. Lines are parallel:

a. If the given lines are parallel and distance between them is equal to diameter of circle the there are infinity circles possible which have given radius and touches given two lines

b.  If the given lines are parallel and distance between them is not equal to diameter of circle then no circle possible.

2.  Lines are not parallel:

If lines cut at any point there are only one circle possible.
