Here two side of quadrilateral is given .

That means this is a ractangle .

Perimeter= sum of all side= 5+2+5+2=14 ft

Area= product of two adjacent side= 5×2= 10 sq.ft.

And if we consider it as parallelogram we will need distance (hieght) between two parallel side or angle between two adjacent side. Here any of these is not given. Hence we cant find the area of the this quadrilateral considering it as parallelogram.

Area of parallelogram= base×hieght

Or area = 1/2*(product of sides)(sine of angle between them)
