Question

Show that the curve y = 7ex + 6x + 5x3 has no tangent line with...

Show that the curve

y = 7ex + 6x + 5x3

has no tangent line with slope 5.

y' =

So is the y derivative going to be greater than or less than 5

y'  ?  > ≥ = ≤ < 5,

so no tangent line can have slope 5.

Will be grateful, if you can help me with this question, thanks
