If Drink A contains 48% Caffeine and Drink B contains 62% Caffeine. How much of each solution should be mixed in order to create 35 milliliters of a solution that contains 58% Caffeine?

35 milliliters of a mixed solution

=>x+y =35

=>y=35 -x

Drink A contains 48% Caffeine and Drink B contains 62% Caffeine,solution mixture contains 58% Caffeine

=>(48/100)x+(62/100)y =(58/100)35

=>48x+62y =58*35

=>48x+62(35-x) =2030

=>48x +2170-62x=2030

=>62x-48x=2170-2030

=>14x=140

=>x=10

y=35 -x,x=10

=>y=35 -10

=>y =25

amount of  Drink A is 10 milliliters
