For some functions, the integrations are not possible i.e. in this case we use the approximation to compute the integration.

Ex - Let us assume we want to compute the area of the function, f(x)= ln(x)/(1+x^4) from 0 to 10. In this case, we can use the left and right hand approximation to compute the integral.

There are multiple ways to compute the area under integral depending upon the function type

1) Left Hand approximation

2) Right Hand approximation

3) Midpoint approximation

4) Trapezoid approximation 5) Simpson approximation
