Homework Answers

Answer #1

Let price of senior citizen ticket = x

Price of adult ticket is = y

So price of 3 senior ticket and 1 child ticket = $38

So we can write

......................................................(i)

Price of 3 senior ticket and 2 child ticket = $52

So we can write

.....................................................(ii)

On subtracting eqn (ii) and eqn(i)

On plugin value of y in eqn (i)

So price of senior citizen ticket is = $8

Price of child ticket is = $14.
