i need to solve this equation

=(((8%*1000/6%*(1.06^10-1))+1000)/1000)^(1/10)-1

and get this as the answer =7.4657%

(((8%*1000/10%*(1.10^10-1))+1000)/1000)^(1/10)-1

=8.567%

can someone check and solve this. maybe there is an error with the brackets

Answer #1

Here, you just give (((8%*1000/6%*(1.06^10-1))+1000)/1000)^(1/10)-1 to calculate.

So it is impossible to check any type of error regarding the brackets, since you did not give any information regarding the brackets.

Now, (((8%*1000/6%*(1.06^10-1))+1000)/1000)^(1/10)-1

= (((0.08*1000/0.06*(1.06^10-1))+1000)/1000)^(1/10)-1

= ((1054.463595+1000)/1000)^(1/10)-1

= (2054.463595/1000)^(1/10)-1

= (2.054463595)^(1/10)-1

= 1.074656933-1

= 0.074656933

7.4657%

And, (((8%*1000/10%*(1.10^10-1))+1000)/1000)^(1/10)-1

= (((0.08*1000/0.1*(1.10^10-1))+1000)/1000)^(1/10)-1

= ((1274.993968+1000)/1000)^(1/10)-1

= (2274.993968/1000)^(1/10)-1

= (2.274993968)^(1/10)-1

= 1.085670469-1

8.5670%

I do not find any error in your calculation.

Solve using periodic properties: Sin-1(sin(5π/8)) cos (16π/3) Assuming you don't have a calculator to check your work, I don't understand how to find the corresponding angle on the periodic circle. I really need a detailed explanation. I understand the math so I don't need someone showing me how to subtract 5π-2π =3π, but more so how you would know how to subtract 5-2 as opposed to 5π-4π to get π/8? calculate the wavelengths of the electronic transition in polyenes for N=6, 8, and 10. Comment on the variation of wavelength with the length of the molecule. Use the equation lambda = hc/delta E = (8meL2c)/(h(N+1)) The answers are 354nm, 490nm, and 626nm I just need to know how to get these answers. Use 5.78x10-10m as the length. Thank you.
