=(((8%*1000/6%*(1.06^10-1))+1000)/1000)^(1/10)-1

and get this as the answer =7.4657%

(((8%*1000/10%*(1.10^10-1))+1000)/1000)^(1/10)-1

=8.567%

can someone check and solve this. maybe there is an error with the brackets

Here, you just give (((8%*1000/6%*(1.06^10-1))+1000)/1000)^(1/10)-1 to calculate.

So it is impossible to check any type of error regarding the brackets, since you did not give any information regarding the brackets.

Now, (((8%*1000/6%*(1.06^10-1))+1000)/1000)^(1/10)-1

= (((0.08*1000/0.06*(1.06^10-1))+1000)/1000)^(1/10)-1
