4. A 17 ft long ladder is leaning against a vertical wall. A winch on the top of the building is lowering the top of the ladder making the base of the ladder slide away from the building (yes, not a very good ladder for it to slip like this). The winch is lowering the top of the ladder at a rate of 1.5 ft/s. How fast is the angle between the ladder and the ground changing when the top of the ladder is 8 ft from the ground? Although this is a related rates problem (follow all related rates problem solving steps), your goal will be to solve for the angle of which you want the rate before taking any derivatives.
