One thing I keep getting stuck on is the questions that are f(x+h). Most of the time I get the answer right, but I got tripped up on the homework and got some of the answers wrong. Does anyone have any advice?

Please check out my solution.

I feel you want to get more information about what f(x) is transformed into when f(x+h) is obtained.

f(x+h) can also be written as f(x—(—h)). This means that f(x) must be shifted by (—h) units towards positive x-axis. Hence f(x) must be shifted by (—h) towards right. Instead of shifting (—h) units towards right we just shift (h) units towards LEFT . Isn't that cool.

Now , since the entire graph is shifted by h units to the left therefore x-coordinate of every point on the graph of f(x) must decrease by "h" units to get the x-coordinate of every point on f(x+h).

Since there is no shifting in Vertical direction therefore there is no change in y-coordinate.

HOPE IT HELPED :-)

please give it a thumbs up if you liked it.

Paraphrase material below One thing that captured my attention was self efficacy. I believe that this will be important to my learning outcomes as I continue my education in grad school. I need to be more confident in the work that I produce because I know that I work hard on it. So, if I practice self efficacy a little more I believe reaching my learning outcomes may not be so stressful. The second thing that captured my attention was...

I am going to ask you to discuss a subject that for many people can be a touchy issue and that is the subject of human sexuality and choices. Politics, personal biases and emotional issues can all rear up and make things difficult. Please remember I am asking you to discuss your opinions on this. Some of you will certainly disagree and there is nothing wrong with that. When no one disagrees there is no point to discussion. That being...
