Answer #1

The cost of shipping televisions from Pittsburgh to Blairsville ($ 19) is lower than the cost of shipping televisions from Erie to Blairsville ($20) and the cost of shipping televisions from Pittsburgh to Youngstown ( $ 21) is lower than the cost of shipping televisions from Erie to Youngstown ($ 25). The difference in cost of shipping to Youngstown is $ 4, while the difference in cost of shipping to Blairsville is $ 1. Hence, all the 40 televisions needed at Youngstown should be shipped from Pittsburgh.

The remaining 20 televisions from Pittsburgh should be shipped to Blairsville and the remaining 15 televisions needed at Blairsville should be shipped from Erie to minimize the cost of shipping.
