Sigma n=1 to infinite (-1)^n sin(pi/n)

I confuse about this alternative test

I know this function F(x) = sin(pi/n) should be decreasing for all n value.

but it is not decreasing when n =1 , n=2

but the answer is convergent.

so how I figure out this one, is it okay to ignore when n is 1 or 2? then why? cause the condition said, Function must be decreasing for all n value.

1. There are n identical users of a common-property resource. The output of user i is denoted yi . “Pollution” is a by-product of output. Let pi = yi be the amount of pollution generated by user i’s output yi . The profit that accrues to user i—not deducting for pollution damages—when i’s output is yi is given by 2yi − y 2 i . Pollutants reduce profit. When y1 + ... + yn is total output, the loss to...

(b) Multiply these two power series expansions together to get a power series ex-pansion for 1 (1−x)(1−2x) (This involves doing an infinite amount of distributing and combining coeffi-cients, but you should be able to figure out the pattern here.) c) Separate the power series in terms of power series for A/(1 − x) and B/(1 − 2x)...

conception clear up about sample variance 1. I heard that when the n is getting bigger, then the sample variance will be zero. I don't understand here, variance means the distance between the mean and the data value , in here does the mean is sample mean or population mean??? 2. if the sample variance is 0, then all the data value will be same as the mean??? I am so confused, because how could that be possible, if we have...
