Define implied warranty of merchantability. Explain.
Implied warranty of merchantability guarantees that product/goods will work as it was intended to work. As name suggest , here warranty is understood , it is not written anywhere. It means that a product which fails to work property , it can be returned to seller. This ensures that the seller don't have to make effort to give customer assurance that product will work as it is intended to work.
Warranty of merchantability is based on the idea that the seller knows whether product will work or not. It is seller's duty to check whther product he is placing in market workes properly or not. Whether car is adequate to drive is know by seller alone.
