Answer #1

I would define marketing as an art of selling goods or services to the various customer segments in the market. Marketing will involve targeting the right set of customers, pulling them by advertising and turning them into loyal customers.

Example of marketing: I wanted to take a holiday vacation and then was lured by a newspaper advertisement that promised a vacation to Croatia and the Balkans. I was excited to see the exotic place and approached this travel agent. They were exceptional and provided all the services they promised. I was happy about their customer service.
