Domestically and India

Homework Answers

Answer #1

The performance of Ford has seen a downfall in the last one year both in U.S as well as in India. The performance in U.S. has dropped as the sales of the company has reduced. This is due to the recent shift in the industry to move towards automated cars. But still Ford is the 8th largest seller of cars in U.S.

In India, Ford India pvt. Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary. The performance of this company has also seen a downfall when compared to last financial year. The reason for this being the tendency of the company to go for cost cutting so that they can renovate their product for the new generation.
