What are the financial institutions that make up the US financial system and what services they offer. Which financial institution do you use most personally? Why or why not?

Bank, investment bank, retail bank , insurance company, asset managment company , custodians, treasury bank, federal reserve , retail bank , corporate bank, mortgage companies, rating agencies etc., are few of the financial institution that make up the US financial system.

They offer different types of services which are as follows:

1. Retail banking

2. IPO, portfolio management, fund management etc

3. Provide insurance to the copanies and individuals.

4. Monetary policy is decided by federal reserve

5. Mortgage comapnies provide loan against property

6. treasury management

I mainly use retail banking for my banking need because it provide me services like opening my account and provide return on my saving account it help me keep my money safe and I can withdraw as per my need.
