Private politics arise in a situation when the government is not taking any action against a particular wrong doing in the areas of environment, human rights, and social justice. It is frequently driven by social pressure. It may be either confrontational or co-operative in nature. If the private politics is confrontational in nature then it implies that the firm should change its wrong practice or else it will have to face harmful consequences. The harmful campaigning will be dangerous for the firm. Therefore, a firm must be careful to not get into such confrontational practices or private politics.
