Competency is measurable and observable. The skills, knowledge, ability and behavior of a person will give a clear picture about the competency of the employee or individual. The observable behavior that represents the competency and proficiency of a person are customer focus and business alignment. If a person is competent enough for the job then he or she will work towards making the customer satisfied and also have the company's goals and objectives in mind. Thus, he or she will not only look that their personal development but also ensure that the business achieves its targets and satisfies its customers .
