Leaders must note the followin points to ensure high ownership and excellent executions:

  • Inform everyone, then empower champions - Before execution, a leader must take in depth awareness session for all employees about the strategy so that everyone comes om the same page about execution.
  • Keep relationships tight and rules loose - This means staying in close communication with their on-the-ground players, the way football coaches talks with quarterbacks on headsets throughout the game.
  • Modify and adapt quickly - if the strategy has certain shortcomings, leaders must ensure to adapt through the challenges and modify the strategy as soon as possible.
