The potential of a trade war has sent turbulence in the financial market as President Trump has asked for additional tariffs on $200 billion imports from China. Why is Warren Buffett so confident that the tension will be resolved? Why is he not worried about trade wars?

I would say the number one investor is not worried about trade war because as per his perception he is optimistic the us and China will avoid a serious trade conflict because contries eventually do what it is in their best economic interest.

further he added that he don't think either country will dig themselves in to something that precipitates and continues any kind of real trade war he also said there will be some back and forth but in the end he don't think we will come out with terrible answer on it trade benefits are huge and the world's dependent on it in a major way for its progress that two intelligent countries will not do something extremely foolish.
