Could you please give a short reply to the given short essay?

I believe that the use of trade restrictions for the purpose of encouraging the establishment of human rights in a country will come with many benefits as well as numerous drawbacks. Although it is of my personal opinion that such restrictions may lead to more disadvantages than it may lead to benefits. It is true that it may lead to the regime that is running to country, to amend their policies concerning human rights and fix the issues they have so that they would not be effected economically. Although I feel that restricting trade with such nations may in itself be a violation of human rights. Trade sanctions to such countries will impact the country as a whole. It does not differentiate the oppressor from the oppressed. More than often, the ones whom are on top of the social ladder in such countries, among whom include the ones whom are members of government may be effect less by such restrictions. It is the common people whom are largely affected. They have no reason to be further affected in a negative manner due to actions that are not of their own doing. For example, it would not make sense for an employee whom had nothing to do with a crime to pay for the wrong doings of an employer. It further harms the economic growth of such nations, which too would have a more negative impact on the common citizens of the nation rather than the powerful and wealthy whom govern the nation at the top. Such trade restrictions would also hinder the commerce conducted by the parties in the US whom trade with such nations. They would lose their customers as a result of problems that which are not of their making.

Answer #1

Removal of trade restriction allows easy entry of foreign goods which are efficient and better than domestic products. Domestic manufacturers lose out to foreign manufacturers initially but this encourages domestic industries to innovate and become competitive. As a result they can enter foreign countries as well. In the long run this can improve employment in the domestic country. Some foreign countries have reciprocal arrangement. They retaliate with their own trade restrictions which may hamper export oriented industries and can affect employment.
?Removal of trade restriction makes customer the real king and in the long run provides employment. So removing trade restrictions will help poor countries and is good for humanitarian causes .
