Investment risk are all such risk associated with investment into a particular security that will lower the value of investment and return.

An investor is usually investing into various security in order to maximize it's rate of return and there are risk related to uncertainty in the market which can lower the value of investment and it will also mean that the overall rate of return on investment will also get lower so the overall risk which are having a adverse impact on the investment value are known as investment risk.

These investment risks which have the capability of lowering the overall value of investment is known as investment risk.
