Business Law question
Jimbo has been hired by McDonald's Hamburgers to take customer orders. He has been overheard by the manager telling customers not to order burgers, that it is unhealthy and immoral to eat meat. The manager told Jimbo that he will be fired if he continues telling customers not to eat meat. Jimbo feels his rights under the Free Speech guarantees of the 1st amendment. Is Jimbo correct? Why or why not?
Jimbo is correct in considering the Free Speech guarantee at the first place than Business/Job responsibility and caution customers for not taking burgers as it contains unhealthy meat. This is because saving human health is more important to the business revenue and profits. If Jimbo go for the business revenue and profits then many human could lose their life. Though it is against the Business Law but towards the Human rights which is always put before and above all.
