Answer #1

I work in a financial research organization. Our office consists of 200 people and each employee has a desk for day to day activities. we provide services to clients all over world from a remote location. All our data and computer workspace are accessed through Citrix server, hence, none of the data stays in the desktop drive.

Yes, we use meeting software to collaborate. Most of our exchange of ideas take place through emails and Microsoft Skype. For all the clients, we use Lync (now Skype) for data sharing, text communications, desktop viewing, video calls and other facilities.

For other non-client interactions, Webex Conference call facility is used (since its universal and can be accessed through normal browser)
