The company added or removed from Nasdaq 100 index through change in the market capitalisation of the company and if the market capitalisation of the company and the number of the outstanding shares which are increasing and decreasing continuously then the composition of index will change.

All those companies which are having the top 100 market capitalisation will be available for inclusion in NASDAQ 100 and those companies which are decreasing their capitalisation will be subject to getting replaced by those companies which are not included in the index and increasing their overall value of market capitalisation.
