Ans:- In simple terms, money laundering is the process or a way to convert illegal money into white money on in other words people hide the origin of the money which is earned through illegal way and by indirect or complex ways that money is converted into white money or legal money.

For example, if money is earned through drug trafficking, embezzlement, kidnapping, tax evasion, etc and converting that money into legal money through a complex process of commercial transactions or banking transfers, then that process is known as money laundering
