How can you obtain work experience in the finance field while you are still a student? How do job prospects in the field of finance look over the next 10 years? One of the roles of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is that of a fiduciary. What does this mean?

As a student, I can obtain experience in the field of finance by working as an intern in the various finance organizations like banks, insurance companies, real estate and asset management companies.

In the next 10 years, the job opportunities that will be available are financial analyst, quantitative analyst, underwriting agent eyc. There will be more demand for people with finance knowledge in the management of assets.

Fiduciary implies the role of trust and responsibility. A CFO has the role of fiduciary as it is his responsibility to ensure that the financial policy is implemented properly. This includes communicating the policy, implementing intetnal controls and checking the activities of the organization.
