Age of Majority Defined as per rules in Great Britain is 21 years which means the age at which a person normally becomes an adult in law. In Great Britain, a person is considered as a minor whether he is 1 year old or 20 years old till the time he attains the age of 21.

In United States, the age of majority is defined differently in all the states. The age of majority in most of the cases is 18 except the three states namely Alabama, Nebraska and Mississippi. Until a person reaches the age of 18, several restrictions are imposed as per the rules in law.
