. Why is a business’s approach to environmental concerns so challenging for managers? and What is the relationship between sustainable development and climate change?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

It is challenging to approach environmental concerns since making profit and producing goods or rendering services in a sustainable manner has no place at the present state. The major reason being the supply chain is always linked to something that causes environmental damage no matter how ecological the product may be. To produce any product that is 100% environment friendly takes time and is costly which may affect and consumers may not be willing to wait. Also, the stakeholders do not get the expected returns on the stock. If the development is not sustainable it may cause severe climate adverse effects which may leave no resources for our future generations.
