Do you agree with the "America First" policy or do you believe that the United States should pursue a moral imperative to stand up for the rights of others who are not yet free?

Answer #1

Ammerics first as a policy sould be such that it benefits USA but not at cost of others. USA has been over years a champion of free world and democracy and has been a proponent of free trade. Therefore it becomes imperitive for US to stand up for others who are weak. The policy of America first can backfire and US may lose its trade partners and can also lose friends in the International community. America First as a policy shall pursue US rights and interests but it shall see to it that it is not detremental to others as it may result in losing friends.

To safeguard America's interest there have been interventions in the past and the policy is against this. This leads to conflicting theories and thus policy is not likely to benefit USA in the long run. We as a country have been successful by taking all the nations together and are likely to fail when we end our ties.
