Some of the reasons for the falling of Indian currency in 2018 are:

1. Beginning of trade war between the USA and China.
2. Increase in the price of the crude oil: India imports 80% of its crude oil requirements.
3. Increasing Trade Deficit of India.
4. Outflow of Foreign Currency (outflow of FDI's)
5. The atmosphere of Political Uncertainty (As the general elections are coming in 2019).
