Answer #1

No, Amazon can not replicate its Us success in China. The culture and perception of Chinese are very much different from that of Americans. Further, Alibaba who has deep-rooted in the retail market of China is a very tough competitor of Amazon.

Amazon is trying to capture the Chinese market from a long period of time (Approx. a Decade) but not be able to do so.

Further, the Price Sensitivity & Payment method are very different in China as compared to US. Customers in China are very price sensitive but prices on amazon are much higher than other online platforms available in China.

In Payment Methods also, Alipay is very much popular in China but amazon does not give the option to pay with Alipay.

So, These are some of the reasons due to which Amazon is lacking behind in China.

I hope it will help you in the study.

That never happened. Let’s speculate though and ask if China did sell all that...
