About Chelsea football club :

Chelsea as a club have become despised by many fans because they are seen as a club that have become successful only because of money. Unlike the three most successful clubs in the country (Man United, Liverpool & Arsenal) Chelsea have not developed any youth players into world class stars nor have they bought unknown players for small fees and transform them into legends. Instead, Chelsea for many years bought high profile, world class signings for large fees and the evidence of that is in their total net transfer spend of £711.1 million as of August 2017, this is only second to Manchester City. Since Abramovich took over Chelsea in August 2003, Chelsea have won 15 trophies (the second most only behind Man United with 16 trophies in total) and because of this success they have constantly finished above teams such as Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool and have grown as a club and thus exceeded most other clubs around them. This has created a sense of bitterness and envy from these clubs as well as fans of other clubs and as a result, Chelsea have become labelled as a “cheque book club” with no real history or traditions. Irrespective of their recent achievements, rival clubs continue to dismiss Chelsea as a small club, like the fella in the video from Arsenal Fan TV.

Up's and Down's of chelsea football team :

I would say it is because Chelsea F.C. introduced the concept of a sugar-daddy football club.

Other reasons :

1)Most of the prominent European clubs (Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Munich) in Europe spent big after gradually earning their money through revenue and deals. Chelsea have a sugar-daddy who shags money for them.

2)Chelsea F.C.'s rapid rise (0n account of their sugar-daddy) instigated other clubs to opt for similar policies of buying success. This indirectly had an adverse effect on the appropriate way of building a club which in turn led UEFA to finally implement the FFP rules.

3)Chelsea F.C. is the ultimate parvenu among European elites. In other words Chelsea F.C. is student getting admission in to an elite college through management quota.

4)They won the UCL in the most despicable way possible. They regularly opt for negative tactics. That's something we don't expect from other European elites.

5)Chelsea F.C.'s captain is a certified racist. John Terry was found guilty of racial abuse against Anton Ferdinand. Such behavior towards a fellow countryman that too in a Premier League game is unacceptable. Any other European elite club would have at least scrapped him of his captaincy.

6)Chelsea F.C. have a flawed youth policy. They attract promising youngsters through huge paychecks. Andreas Christensen has been earning 20k pounds a week since he was 16. To put that into perspective Burnley F.C.'s top earner gets 10k pounds a week. Chelsea would continuously loan these promising youngsters to other clubs, develop them and sell them for a significant profit. They seldom give their youngsters a chance.

7)Chelsea F.C. buying success resulted in intense animosity from supporters in general. Big clubs and their fans considered them as parvenus; someone who never deserved to be among them. The smaller clubs and their fans loathed them for buying success as a few other LUCKY clubs (e.g. Manchester City F.C.) also opted to gain unfair advantage.
