Cersei is dissatisfied with her current office building and would like to build a new, trophy building. The lot she wants to build on is a city block with a depth of 250 ft. and a width of 350 ft. The building she has in mind would have 50,000 square feet on each floor.

The Council has imposed a cap on FAR of 20. How many floors can Cersei build?

- Total city block area(or site area) = Depth*width

= 250ft*350ft

= 87,500 square ft

Floor Area Ratio = Total Floor Area/Site Area

20 = Total Floor Area/87,500 square ft

Total Floor Area = 1750,000 square ft

- Size of 1 floor area = 50,000 square ft

No of floors = Total Floor Area/Size of each floor area

= 1750,000 sq. ft/50,000 sq. ft

= 35 floors

So, Cersei can build 35 floors
