I need to calculate equity from figures corresponding to these categories. What are considered assets and what are considered liabilities?
Required Net Working Capital, Req Cash+Receivables+Inventories, Payables+Accruals, Req Net Working Capital (RNWC), Fixed Assets Schedule, Net Fixed Assets (NFA), Depreciation, CAPEX, Free Cash Flows to Entity, Long term debt Value
Answer :- Total current assets = Cash + Inventories + Accounts Receivables.
Total current liabilities = Total of Accruals and Accounts Payable.
Net working capital = Total current assets - Total current liabilities.
Total assets = Total current assets + Net fixed assets (NFA) + Capital expenditure (CAPEX).
Total liabilities = Total current liabilities + Non-current liabilities (Long-term debt).
Equity = Total assets - Total liabilities.
(Note :- Depreciation has already been subtracted from the gross book value of fixed assets to arrive at Net fixed assets value. Fixed assets schedule shows gross book value, depreciation and net book value of fixed assets).
