The firm's primary objective should be to be profitable while doing the business ethically. Doing so is the most beneficial for the society in the long run. If the company is profitable in the long run, the employees are paid well and since the business is conducted in an ethical manner the society is well served. The customers will also be satisfied with the company and the suppliers will be paid well and on time. Overall doing the business in an ethical manner and being profitable in the long run serves the society to be most beneficial.
