Through which medium are sales primarily conducted (face-to-face, telephone, email, internet)? How effective is your company at communicating with its target market?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

My company conducts maximum sales over the internet. The company is engaged in online selling of readymade garments. After the advent of online marketplace, the focus has shifted from brick and mortar stores to online sales thus increasing the sales online.

However there are issues with communicating with the customers. Since there is lack of direct intervention with customers, the company is unable to communicate continuously with the target market. There are quality issues that reach the company very late. Also there are high number of returns, the reason for which are unknown in many cases. The company is able to communicate the offers and discounts to target audience very effectively and at no additional cost.
