where can I find the equity financing and debt financing in an annual report?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

In an annual report, you need to find the 'Consolidate Balance sheet'.

In this, Equity financing can be found as 'Total shareholder's equity' under the header Liabilities and shareholder's equity

Debt financing can be found under the header Assets of the Balance sheet.

Here, if all the debt finance is to be considered, 'Total liabilities' must be considered.

However, if only debt that involves repayment over a time period greater than 12 months is to be considered, 'Long term debt' must be considered as a part of debt financing.
