Homework Answers

Answer #1

An active fund management style is most suited. In the current market scenario, the best style would be to pick bottom up stock companies which are beaten down and then expect price appreciation. The best scenario would be to invest in a blend of mid and large cap stocks which have a high growth potential.

The fund manager should be agile and should have the following characteristics to be most successful

1. Curious in nature and question anything.

2. See the world in different angle.

3. Confidence in backing the calls given.

4. Humility to accept failure when something has gone wrong.
