Answer #1

Wages collective bargaining take place between union and employers. So wage surveys play effective role in collective bargaining.

As we know that wage surveys give ideas about normal wages rate in whole market hence on the basis of such wages trends employers can do effective collective bargaining with the unions. On other hands workers also can demand reasonable wages from the employers on the basis of wage surveys.

Thus it is true that wage surveys can be effectively used in collective bargaining due to a basic idea about circulating wages in the whole industries and expectations of the workers, paying capacity of the employers etc.
