As per Reuters.com and Wall Street Journal  Mckinsey and Co was slapped with a fine of $15 million over bankruptcy case closure.
The US department of Justice observed that Mckinsey had tried to cover up the bankruptcy case of its clients. It did not share full information on the bankruptcy cases of its client who had hired Mckinsey as financial consultant. IT was a case of conflict of interest. Alpha Natural Resources, Westmoreland Coal and SunEdison were the bankrupt companies whose information was iwthheld by Mckinsey. It was observed that this fine was one of the highest in bankruptcy cover up case.
