Enculturation impacts the value of activities and the influence comes from sources outside of the consumer, that is, as we grow, we adapt to our surroundings and learn from it, and then behave and act accordingly. For example, in America, people eat cereals for breakfast while people in India eat Dosa (thin crepes made of lentils). This pattern of activity does not originate from the individual but is acquired from our surroundings.
