4. They have a very high brand recognition.

5. Intel has a high commiyment towards R&D giving them an edge over the competitors.

Weaknesses

1. It has missed the chance to capitalize on the smartphone and tablet technology losing to its competitors. Hence it has yet to diversify into other segments.

2.It tends to overproduce thus leading to risk of obsolescence.

3. It has a slow service in developing economies of the world thus reducing its popularity there.
