The change in spped limites represents an instrumentation effect which is a threat to internal validity.

It is not Maturation effect as it is related to change in the condition of a disease or organism that occurs naturally over time and not as a result of treatment. Here an external treatment is being given by reducing the spped limits.

It is not a testing effect as we are not testing data using demographic data of past. We are doing an instrument to understand the thing.

It is not a history effect as the same was not there in histort of traffic laws.
