NOTE: Avocado prices despite being an agricultural commodity do not posses a globally accepted benchmark price (unlike much of mineral and energy commodities). As seen in the graphs above prices rose moderately during the early part of the year, followed by steep increases in the middle part and finally cooling off a bit.
