A capacitor with C = 2F has been pre-charged to V0 = 15V voltage. Calculate the total amount of energy stored in the capacitor.
Then, at time t = 0, the capacitor starts to discharge through a resistor R = 1, i.e. the voltage across the capacitor is changing according to the following formula:
v(t)=Vo e ^(-t/RC)
(a) What is the percentage of energy that discharges from the capacitor in the first three seconds of the process?
(b) Estimate the percentage of discharged energy that is carried by the frequencies between 0Hz and 2Hz.
