Explain the role of energy storage from the demand and supply side

Homework Answers

Answer #1

In present senario energy storage is mandatory in order to supply uninterruptable power supply to the consumer. Therefore we are using energy storage equipments at both sides that is at supply side and consumer side.

If we use energy storage equipment at supply side whenever there is no demand it will store the extra energy which is available. And this stored energy is used whenever demand is more.

And if we use energy storage equipment at demand side that is at consumer side it will store extra energy supplied by the system and uses this energy whenever demand is more .

By this way we can use energy storage equipment for uninterruptable power supply.
