Criteria: 1 Selector Switch A

  1. When the PLC is placed in the Run mode the idle light will illuminate.

  1. When Start is pressed the idle light will go out and the run light will illuminate.

    Pump # 1 will fill the tank until the high level sensor activates. When the tank is full the full      light will illuminate.

  1. When the tank is full the heater will turn on until a temp of 60 degrees is reached.
  2. Once the temperature has reached 60 degrees the mixer will then run for 10 seconds.

       Note: During the 10 second mixing it is okay that the temperature will be dropping            below 60 degrees.

  1. After the mixing phase the batch will be sent to the next station using pump 3

  1. The process will repeat automatically without pressing start.

  1. Pressing stop at any-time will drain the tank and reset for another cycle when start is pressed again.

  1. The LED display will display the number of complete batches that are processed. Pressing stop will reset the display to zero.

Criteria: 2 Selector Switch B

  1. Operator selects number of gallons with thumb wheel for pump 1 then presses enter to move data to program.

  1. When start is pressed- pump 1 will pump the number of gallons entered into the tank..

  1. Pump 2 will then automatically fill the rest of the tank.
  2. Everything else works as in criteria 1
  3. To change the recipe the operator must press stop and reenter the thumbwheel data.

Selector Switch C -  

Works the same as Selector A, but when stop is pressed the process will stop where it is and then continues to operate from where it stopped when the start button is pressed again.
